When Charlotte Flair Signed Her New WWE Contract Extension

WWE doesn’t want to lose any top stars in 2024, and they have inked a few of them to new deals as they closed out 2023. It seems that they actually secured Charlotte Flair a while ago, but the news didn’t break until after her recent injury.

Charlotte Flair sustained significant injury during her match with Asuka on the December 8th SmackDown show. After suffering a torn ACL, torn MCL, and torn meniscus, news of her contract situation broke.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Charlotte Flair actually inked a new deal with WWE several months ago. So, her contract news was not really new information when it broke.

Regarding the reports Flair signed a multi-year deal, it’s accurate but that deal was actually signed several months ago

Charlotte Flair is still making a ton of money, a historic number at this point. Word is that Mercedes Mone may want even more than that, so we will have to see how things pan out.
