It did not take Top Dolla too long before he understood how things went about in WWE, but he never really managed to get himself over as much as the company would have liked. WWE ended up releasing him back in September and Dolla returned to GCW to set up a match with Joey Janela. Now, he broke his silence on the matter in a big way.

After Triple H took charge of WWE’s creative direction, Top Dolla and the rest of his group returned to the company in August 2022, except for Swerve Strickland, who is now with AEW. As previously reported, Top Dolla was released by WWE in September as part of the company’s previous slew of releases.

Top Dolla also revealed his booking availability following his WWE release, which would be on January 1st, 2024. He is now a free agent, which is why Dolla immediately appeared at the GCW Holiday Special on December 21st – attacking Joey Janela to set up their bout next year.

The former WWE Superstar took to Twitter following his shocking appearance and broke his silence on the matter, admitting that he missed the energy of GCW, making it clear he is here for business.
