Charlotte Flair is regarded as one of the all-time greats in the WWE women’s division, but she isn’t immune from injuries. In fact, she is currently on the shelf due to a knee injury and now the timeline for her surgery has been revealed.

On the December 8th episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Charlotte Flair faced Asuka in a solid bout. The Queen lost to The Empress of Tomorrow after Bayley interfered in the match.

What followed raised concerns among fans and WWE talent alike. Reports started circulating that Charlotte Flair possibly got injured during the match. In a distressing moment, she was seen clutching her knee and crying out, “My knee!” Medical personnel rushed to her side after the match, as fans were concerned for her health.

During WWE SmackDown last week, it was revealed that Charlotte Flair will be out of action for 9 months due to knee injury. According to PWInsider, it was revealed that Flair is set to get knee surgery in early January. It was further added that Flair could return by October next year after her surgery.

PWInsider.com has been told by WWE sources that Charlotte Flair is scheduled for knee surgery in early January.

If the nine month estimate that was publicly stated by WWE is true, that would put her at an October 2024 return.”

Ric Flair also revealed how Charlotte Flair’s injury put an emotional strain on her. Charlotte Flair might have suffered additional injuries due to the unfortunate botch as well. It remains to be seen whether the 14-time Women’s Champion will be able to make her in-ring return ahead of schedule.
