WWE has lot of plans in the works for 2024, and now we know that Rey Mysterio can be factored in that agenda in a big way. It seems that Mr. 6-1-9 will be around for a lot longer than that.

We previously reported over the last day that Dominik Mysterio signed new WWE contract a while ago. Rey Mysterio also inked a new deal, both believed to be five-year contracts.

Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, and others have deals that expire in 2024. WWE may want to do whatever it takes to keep those Superstars with them, and that will include opening up their bank account to write some big checks.

It was previously reported that WWE is expected to offer huge contracts to keep top Superstars from entering free agency. This tactic seems to be working, because it is helping them lock down some big-time deals. Now, WWE has a lot of things in the future that they can work toward.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that the belief is that Rey Mysterio’s new WWE contract is a five-year deal. That could be a very long deal for him at this stage in his career.

It was stated that, if Rey Mysterio’s new WWE contract is indeed a five-year agreement, then he will be 54-years-old by the time that deal expires. That will keep Rey Mysterio in the company for a lot longer than many expected him to be a full-time performer.

The specifics of Rey Mysterio’s new deal with WWE are not known at this time. It is expected that he is making a ton of money, because WWE certainly has enough funds to throw around at this stage in the company’s history.

We will keep a close eye on this story, and so many more, here at Ringside News. You never know what will break next, but we will be here with all of the headlines!
