Kenny Omega is out of action with case of diverticulitis, and this is a serious situation. Excalibur’s old posts on Twitter have now resurfaced on social media, and it’s not a good look.
In 2015, Kenny Omega didn’t have diverticulitis, but the illness was known as something that took Brock Lesnar out of action. This caused some to joke about the medical issue, but it’s no joking matter.
Excalibur’s old posts from 2015 have now resurfaced, thanks to Squared Circle on Reddit, and there is really no excuse to make those jokes. Years later, Excalibur hasn’t nixed those posts, either, as they are still on his timeline.
My greatest contribution to wrestling might be renaming the F5 to “Deep Sea Diverticulitis.” Hopefully that catches on like “Helluva Kick.”
In 2020, videos also resurfaced of Excalibur shouting the N-Word at a pro wrestling event. That was not a good thing for him, and he took some time off television after the story broke.
We will have to see if Excalibur answers to these newly resurfaced posts. Obviously, this illness is nothing to joke about, especially now that it has taken Kenny Omega out of action.
For the record, Kenny Omega has distanced himself from the Diverticulitis name given to the F5 in AEW: Fight Forever. Excalibur might have carried on with that name, if given the opportunity.
