Liv Morgan became meme overnight when she was arrested for marijuana possession. She is already out of lockup, and now she has court date. That being said, she also needs to consider how her employer feels about this.

Liv Morgan is set to appear at the arraignment for charges of possession of marijuana (not more than 20 grams) and possession of drugs, potentially synthetic cannabinoid, on Monday, 2/12/24, at the Sumter County Courthouse in Florida at 9 AM. During this hearing, she must declare whether she pleads guilty or not guilty.

Sean Sapp dropped an update behind Fightful’s paywall about Liv Morgan’s situation internally within WWE. She was busted for weed, but there’s no heat on her.

We’re told that there is “absolutely no heat” on Liv Morgan following the arrest.

“Liv has not been on TV, did not alter creative plans, and was honest about the situation, there are no issues with her whatsoever” one WWE staff member said.

“Everybody liked Liv before, everybody still likes Liv. We’ll get our jokes off, and she’ll get hers off and nobody will be thinking about it soon enough,” one top talent told Fightful.

It was also noted that, “One WWE name said that Morgan bonded out Thursday, and was back on Twitter promoting Smackdown on Friday.”

Marijuana is in the Wellness Policy, but WWE has not tested for it for years. It used to result in a $2500 fine, but WWE Superstar don’t have to worry about THC in their system at this point.

In Florida, possession of drugs, possibly synthetic cannabinoid, is designated as a felony and can result in a maximum penalty of one year in jail, up to one year of probation, and a $1,000 fine.

Contrarily, charges of possession of marijuana (not more than 20 grams) are categorized as a first-degree misdemeanor in Florida. This offense may lead to a punishment of up to one year in jail or on probation, coupled with a $1,000 fine.

Furthermore, a conviction for possession triggers a six-month driving license suspension, random drug testing, and the reimbursement of all fees associated with the sentence. The court’s decision in this situation remains uncertain.
