During this hearing, she will be required to enter a plea of guilty or not guilty.

In Florida, possession of drugs, possibly synthetic cannabinoid, is classified as a felony and can result in a maximum penalty of one year in jail, up to one year of probation, and a $1,000 fine.

On the other hand, the charges of possession of marijuana (not more than 20 grams) constitute a first-degree misdemeanor in Florida. This offense can lead to a punishment of up to one year in jail or on probation, accompanied by a $1,000 fine.

Additionally, a conviction for possession triggers a six-month driving license suspension, random drug testing, and the reimbursement of all fees associated with the sentence. We will have to see how the court rules in this situation.
