Kenny Omega gave his all for his craft. He was also riding high in a tag team with Chris Jericho. Now, that is going to come to a screeching halt.

Kenny Omega just inked a multi-year deal with AEW. It appears that his plan to carry on as a full-time star in the ring hit a speed bump. Now, The Cleaner is out of action, and we have no idea when he will be back.

Kenny Omega logged onto X today and he revealed that he is out of action. He did not disclose the nature of his injury, but he said that his doctors caught it right on time.

I can’t really sugar coat this. I’m out indefinitely. I tried to keep pushing past the pain for as long as I could until it became too much. Luckily doctors caught me when they did. I’ll be here so in the mean time, please enjoy wrestling!

Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho were supposed to have an AEW World Tag Team Title match against Ricky Starks and Big Bill at Worlds End. We will have to see how AEW books around this situation.

We’re hoping that The Cleaner can heal up fast, but this is just another huge injury that Tony Khan is now forced to book around. Obviously, things aren’t looking good for the tag team title match at Worlds End now.B

Keep checking back with Ringside News for more updates as they are made known. We’re sending our best to Kenny Omega.
