Tony Khan has inked deals with a lot of former WWE Superstars. He signed the former Big Cass, and made him Big Bill. Now, as 1/2 of the AEW World Tag Team Champions, Big Bill finds himself with a new partner in Ricky Starks. His old partner, Enzo Amore, is still paying attention.

During AEW Dynamite’s December 13th episode, Chris Jericho said that Ricky Starks is a less-charismatic Enzo Amore. That caught the attention of a lot of people, including the Realest Guy In The Room.

Matt Hardy tweeted out a shout-out to Enzo Amore after that Dynamite mention. The former WWE Superstar then replied to say that people should be a bit louder when speaking his name.

MUMBLE LOUDER

Prior to responding to Hardy’s tweet, the former WWE Superstar also declared that he dresses great, seemingly responding to the line about his attire that was mentioned on AEW Dynamite.

Enzo Amore has not graced the screen for AEW yet, but this recent shout-out was hard to ignore. Only time will tell if he gets in an AEW ring, but Tony Khan has certainly been good to his former tag team partner.

Ricky Starks and Big Bill will defend the AEW World Tag Team Titles against Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega at AEW Worlds End on December 30th. That should be a huge test for the team, and it’s anyone’s guess what kind of promos they will cut next on each other.

We will have to see what the future holds for this situation. Enzo Amore can certainly work a microphone and coin a catchphrase. It’s actually a surprise that Tony Khan’s company hasn’t snagged him yet, because he sold a ton of merchandise for WWE during his run.
