CM Punk’s return to WWE at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event made headlines and sent shockwaves throughout the world of professional wrestling. Before his return, Jade Cargill made her way to WWE as well – creating a lot of buzz. That said, Kevin Nash is skeptical about AEW’s future after they both jumped ship.

Jade Cargill debuted in WWE at the WWE Fastlane Premium Live Event and in the weeks since then, she has appeared on Monday Night RAW, NXT and Friday Night Smackdown consecutively. On the other hand, CM Punk has also made a lot of impact in WWE after his return.

While speaking on the latest episode of his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash discussed the impact of top wrestling stars jumping ship. Nash made it clear that he is skeptical about AEW’s future after CM Punk and Jade Cargill jumped ship.

“[WWE is] back on bedrock again,” Nash continued. “The shows are really solid, but you look at it for five years, and there were some points where [AEW] made some runs. … By losing Jade and losing [CM Punk], it’s not gonna [be good].”

Only time will tell whether AEW will be able to improve their product and counteract losing two big Superstars in Jade Cargill and CM Punk. Till then, all fans can do is wait and hope for the best.
