Jey Uso made his return during WWE Payback after he ‘quit Smackdown’, much to the delight of fans. He then made his way to Monday Night RAW and has since been booked very strongly. He also wants to do an angle with CM Punk in the future.

Jey Uso truly lives up to his ‘main event’ moniker lately thanks to his series of solid matches over the past few months. There is no doubt that he is now one of WWE’s top babyfaces already.

CM Punk’s comeback at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event is in the record books for good reason and Punk is already making headlines whenever possible. While speaking with Alex McCarthy of Daily Mail, Jey Uso was asked whether he wants to face CM Punk. Uso made it clear he is definitely ready to feud with The Second City Saint.

‘People are going to talk about him, so hell yeah he comes back. That’s what WWE is, no matter what we’re going to please the fans and make money – why wouldn’t you bring him in?”

‘I like the guy, man. He was here ten years ago and there was never any beef. If you’re in this profession, you have to have hard skin and be able to take critique well. You can’t get hot about any of this. “

‘So CM Punk is invited to my house, it’s all love. Let’s line it up. I’ll do an angle with CM Punk – I’m ready.”

“I’m glad he’s back. Last time he was here I had paint on my face, I’m a different Jey Uso these days.”

Jey Uso also believes Roman Reigns will put down CM Punk in a possible clash. Regardless, only time will tell whether Jey Uso will square off against The Second City Saint somewhere down the line.
