Dominik Mysterio’s ‘Real-Life Hero’ Act for Child with Cancer

Dominik Mysterio is undoubtedly one of the most hated heels in WWE right now, who continues to get booed out of the building every week. That said, Mysterio recently became a real-life hero to a young fan with cancer.

The NXT North American Champion simply revels in being one of the most annoying heels on the WWE roster, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a heart of gold outside the squared circle.

An Instagram account dedicated to Benji, a young WWE fan with cancer and other ailments, revealed that Dominik Mysterio met up with Benji recently – making him a real-life hero.

Benji’s brought his Dominik Mysterio action figure to countless appointments, labs & MRI’s as comfort and the day of his hip surgery he woke up to the most motivating message from his Champ! Wrestling has been an outlet for Benji throughout his cancer journey, he will never tap out and now he can says he’s got the best Superstar by his side!

Now introducing “Dirty Benji” the countdown has begun, 6 more months and he get to be in a ring with Dirty Dom, as pinky promised he he will take it easy until then!

Dominik Mysterio will be defending his NXT North American Championship at the NXT Deadline Premium Live Event on December 9th. It is certain Benji will cheer for his hero as he should.
