The Blackpool Combat Club has been making waves in the wrestling world, with its formidable lineup featuring Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and Jon Moxley. But the burning question on everyone’s minds has been whether they’d be adding more muscle to their ranks.

In an exclusive chat with DAZN, Bryan Danielson dropped two intriguing names he thinks would be the perfect fit for the Blackpool Combat Club.

First up, he said, “Anthony Ogogo.” Danielson sees Ogogo’s boxing background and unyielding toughness as a natural fit for the group. Ogogo, known for his time with RevPro and sporadic appearances in AEW, has been a bit under the radar since 2021, making him an exciting potential addition.

“That’s a really interesting fit with his boxing background and he’s as tough as nails. Another interesting one is Hook. He’s got beef with Wheeler Yuta right now but sometimes those beefs lead to respect.”

But that’s not all! Danielson also tossed another name into the ring: Hook! With Hook currently holding the FTW Championship and a simmering feud with Wheeler Yuta, Danielson thinks that rivalry could eventually lead to a bond built on respect.

As Bryan Danielson continues to tear it up in the AEW Continental Classic, fans can’t help but wonder if these suggestions will become a reality for the Blackpool Combat Club.
