Kevin Owens is one of the most beloved Superstars in all of WWE, thanks to his excellent character work and dedication to the art. He faced off against numerous top stars in WWE, and that includes Roman Reigns. Owens also disclosed why he isn’t likely going after Roman Reigns again.

The Prizefighter battled Roman Reigns throughout the ThunderDome era in WWE, where they put on bangers every time. Owens last faced Reigns during the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event this year. Owens never managed to defeat Roman Reigns despite his best efforts.

While speaking in an interview with James Williams, Kevin Owens was asked if he wants to square off against Roman Reigns again. Owens made it clear that’s not happening anytime soon as he felt fans have seen them feud numerous times already.

“I’ll be honest — maybe a little too honest,” Owens said. “I don’t think the fans would like that [a rematch], because I’ve had my shot at Roman Reigns many, many times. For one reason or another, it didn’t work out. I almost don’t want to even try, because I don’t think that’s what fans want. They’ve seen it. I’m here for the fans. I want people to enjoy what I’m doing,” Owens clarified. “So, as much as I wish I could be champion and go for the title again, I don’t think it’s right. So, it’s not in my plans.”

Kevin Owens was also brutally attacked by Austin Theory and Grayson Waller on last week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown and will get out of action for the foreseeable future. We’ll have to wait and see when he will return to WWE television.
