CM Punk’s shocking return to WWE at Survivor Series took the wrestling world by storm, and while many expected AEW to address the issue, the promotion has largely remained silent on the matter. Now, AEW President Tony Khan has finally broken his silence, albeit with some legal constraints.

In an interview with the BBC’s Steve Hermon, Tony Khan was asked about his thoughts on CM Punk’s return to WWE. Khan responded by stating that he couldn’t discuss Punk’s WWE return due to legal reasons.

”Can’t talk about that, nor do I think it’s the time and the place. I appreciate you asking, I’m very excited about AEW All In at Wembley Stadium. Not to dodge your question, but it’s not something I can legally talk about.”

Fans have been buzzing about CM Punk’s return, flooding Tony Khan with posts about the Second City Saint’s WWE comeback. CM Punk recently signed long-term deal with WWE just before the Survivor Series Premium Live Event and is also scheduled to appear on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. Wrestling enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating how Punk’s WWE journey will unfold.
