CM Punk shocked the pro wrestling world once again when he returned to WWE at Survivor Series. This was a huge moment for many fans, who kept a candle burning that Punk would make a return to WWE. It seems that teases were all over, if you only knew where to look for them.

Few were aware of CM Punk’s unexpected WWE return at Survivor Series on Saturday night, but WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin may have hinted at it on social media. We know that Triple H said TKO executives were shocked by Punk’s return, but did he tell the Texas Rattlesnake?

Fans were treated to an exciting Survivor Series event in Chicago, with Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and Randy Orton emerging victorious in the main event against The Judgment Day and Drew McIntyre in a WarGames match. As the show was wrapping up, the arena erupted when “Cult of Personality” played, and Punk made his long-awaited return to WWE, confirming months of speculation.

In the hours leading up to Survivor Series, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin added to the intrigue by sharing an image on his Instagram stories. While it remains uncertain whether Austin had inside knowledge of Punk’s return, his social media post generated buzz among fans.

Austin posted a photo of two chickens on an ATV. He picked the caption “Chick Magnet” to go with the photo. Of course, that is what the CM in CM Punk stands for.

CM Punk was in a team early on in his indie years, prior to anyone else knowing who he was, called the Chick Magnets. That team broke up, but the CM Punk stayed. Now, he is known as that to this day, and few fans may realize that is what those two letters stand for.

Steve Austin may have realized that. If anything, it certainly gives us a lot to think about. You can check out Steve Austin’s post below.
