CM Punk remained a major topic of discussion after AEW fired him back in September, as many hoped he would return to WWE after so many years. That’s exactly what happened in the end as Punk came back in the closing moments of Survivor Series. Now Punk has been added back to the WWE roster as an official member following his return.

The Second City Saint made his triumphant return to WWE following the WarGames match at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event – to an incredible ovation. Fans simply couldn’t believe Punk really came back to WWE.

If one goes to WWE’s official website and checks under ‘Current Superstars,’ they will find that CM Punk has been added back to the roster. Coincidentally, he is placed right beside Cody Rhodes – as both former AEW stars made their way back to WWE in the span of almost two years.

CM Punk signed a long-term deal with WWE just before the Survivor Series Premium Live Event. Only time will tell whether The Second City Saint will have a great run in WWE this time around.
