Charlotte Flair has been a mainstay of WWE television for almost a decade now and continues to pave her way in the company. Flair’s in-ring skills cannot be denied and she has a lot of star power as well. Therefore, it comes as no surprise she wanted to continue her father Ric Flair’s tradition in the WarGames match at Survivor Series.

Charlotte Flair is a 14-time women’s world champion and a flag bearer for the women’s division in WWE, but that doesn’t mean she forgot the legacy of her father. During Survivor Series, The Queen competed in her first-ever WarGames match alongside Bianca Belair, Shotzi and Becky Lynch as they squared off against Damage CTRL.

In the end, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair helped pick up the win for their team. While speaking during the Survivor Series media scrum, Charlotte Flair was asked about her mindset and preparation for the match. Flair made it clear that she wanted to continue her father Ric Flair’s tradition in the WarGames match, as Ric Flair has a notable history in the match.

How do we beat the match from last year? How do we top every year and knowing that last year was so good and the year before the NXT one. But I think for me, it was just more, the history with WarGames, with my dad and Dusty and wanting to be a part of that, continuing the tradition.

Being with Bianca and Shotzi and having this moment with Becky, for me, it was more making amends. We kind of left in a bad spot and then coming together tonight and how can we move forward with everything. It was awesome. I had to get my moonsault in. I was like, ‘I have to go off the cage.'”

We will have to wait and see what WWE has planned for Charlotte Flair following her triumphant win at Survivor Series. Perhaps she will finally have a proper babyface run this time around.
