WWE Hall of Famer Adam Copeland is certainly one of the most beloved pro wrestlers of all time. Apart from his pro wrestling expertise, Adam Copeland has acted in a good few shows over the years. In fact, Copeland took a major film role as a tribute to his late mother.

Adam Copeland also has a career in acting, as he has been part of films and TV shows over the years. This includes the 2020 film ‘Money Plane,’ where he portrayed the role of Jack Reese, a professional thief who works under mob boss Darius ‘The Rumble’ Grouch, played by Kelsey Grammar.

The film has a 23% on Rotten Tomatoes, but that doesn’t matter to Adam Copeland. While speaking on Hey (EW,) the Rated R Superstar revealed that he took the role to pay tribute to his late mother.

So my mom’s favorite actor was Kelsey Grammar. She loved Kelsey Grammar. [Cheers and Fraiser was] her totality of Kelsey Grammar. However, that was the first show that I watched with my mom, then we watched Fraiser together. Then she got diagnosed with cancer and we watched Frasier together after every chemotherapy.

After she passed away, I got offered a role opposite Kelsey Grammar. I said ‘You’re damn right I’m doing it.’ I don’t even need to see how bad the script is

Adam Copeland will be portraying the role of Ares in the highly anticipated television adaptation of Rick Riordan’s acclaimed series, “Percy Jackson & The Olympians.” The show is set to release on December 20th, so we’ll have to see how it will be received by fans and critics alike.
