WWE is making history around every turn, it seems, nowadays. Now, they are gearing up to make even more history in 2024.

Over the past year, WWE expanded its reach by hosting major events in various global locations. Fans are now seeing WWE in a global capacity, and that’s not going to change.

Those events outside the United States included the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event in Canada and subsequent events like Backlash in Puerto Rico, Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, and Money in the Bank in London. In 2024, WWE plans to continue this trend with significant shows scheduled for Australia, France, and Germany.

Recently, WWE revealed that due to an overwhelming response from fans during pre-registration for Bash in Berlin, the first-ever major premium live event in Germany, the go-home episode of SmackDown leading up to the event will also take place at the Mercedes-Benz Arena on Friday, August 30, 2024. This marks the inaugural occasion of SmackDown being held in Germany.
