The world of professional wrestling is one of the most taxing and physically demanding fields in the world right now, as they continue to put their bodies on the line for the entertainment of fans. WWE is no different as their talent have to deal with a hectic schedule every week, which can lead to injuries. Now one particular WWE Superstar has disclosed the reason for their prolonged absence.

Apollo Crews competed in the Slim Jim Battle Royal at SummerSlam in August, followed by a tag team match on a Main Event taping a couple of days later. Afterwards, he hasn’t been seen on WWE television for a long time.

Crews would finally return to in-ring action earlier this month. He took to his Instagram and uploaded a post, where the former Intercontinental Champion revealed that he took some time away to heal an undisclosed injury.

Had a little injury that kept me out for a few months. Felt great being back in the ring.”
