Will Ospreay has been given a few great opportunities in his career so far. It appears that he is getting one more, and he’s also making history in the process.

Strictly Come Dancing is a popular British television dance competition series that pairs celebrities with professional dancers. The show features a variety of dance styles, including ballroom and Latin dances, and contestants compete each week to impress the judges and the audience with their dancing skills. The couples receive scores from the judges, and the viewers’ votes determine which couple will be eliminated each week until a winner is crowned. They’ve been on for 21 seasons at this point, but they’ve never had a pro wrestler until now.

Will Ospreay has set his sights on a specific British television achievement, namely becoming the first wrestler to appear on the BBC reality series Strictly Come Dancing. He expressed this desire on Twitter, addressing BBC One.

I will be the first wrestler on strictly come dancing.

While several WWE stars, such as The Miz and Nikki Bella, have participated in Dancing With The Stars, the American counterpart of Strictly Come Dancing, Ospreay’s interest lies in the British version of the show.

As Will Ospreay’s contract situation remains a noteworthy topic in the wrestling world, he appears to be exploring various options for his future. WWE is one potential destination when his current contract expires. In the meantime, he is preparing for a three-way match against Jon Moxley and David Finlay for a “new championship” at Wrestle Kingdom 18 on January 4th.

We’ll have to see how Will Ospreay does on this show. His NJPW contract is up in just a matter of months, and there is big interest in him from all over the pro wrestling business. Only time will tell if Will Ospreay will find himself getting a lot more television gigs soon enough with his next pro wrestling gig.
