TKO Group Holdings recently held their first-ever earnings call. That 3rd quarter of 2023 saw them boast a few numbers, but now more cuts are expected to lower their bottom line even further.

WWE fired over 100 employees from their corporate headquarters. They also slashed several members from their talent roster. The comprehensive list of people WWE has fired since the UFC merger includes executives and a former World Champion.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that WWE is expected to make even more cuts to their corporate staff. It wasn’t noted that any Superstars will be on the chopping block, but more firings are expected.

“The company noted that there will be a great decrease in expenses in eliminating jobs in IT, marketing, finance, human resources and legal when it comes to overlapping personnel in UFC and WWE who can do those jobs for both companies. They expect to save $50 million to $100 million, and the figure was said to be expected to be the high end of this range, with 75 percent of the savings being on the books for 2024.”

WWE is always looking to make money, and they are open for business when it comes to renting out every asset the company has to offer. They are also going to eliminate even more jobs soon enough, which will save them extra cash.

This is not news that anyone wanted to hear, because it’s always terrible when people lose their jobs. That being said, WWE also just moved into a nice, new headquarters. Sadly, some people may not have much longer there.
