The Rock is one of the biggest celebrities on the planet, but the big question is whether he has the American public’s vote. It appears that the idea of a run for President of the United States of America is quite legit.

The Rock has revealed that there have been efforts to encourage him to consider a run for the President of the United States. This is something that he has spoken about in the past, but nothing came to fruition yet.

During his appearance on Trevor Noah’s new podcast, The Rock was asked about a 2021 poll that indicated 46% of American adults would support his presidential campaign. According to The Rock, multiple political parties approached him in 2022, providing additional research to support the notion that he could be a genuine contender in a presidential election.

“That was an interesting poll that occurred, and I was genuinely touched by it. I was truly astonished and felt honored. Let me share this tidbit with you: towards the end of 2022, I received visits from political parties inquiring about my potential candidacy and ability to run.”

“It was a big deal, and it came out of the blue. It was one after the other, and they brought up that poll, and they also brought up their own deep-dive research that would prove that should I ever go down that road [I’d be a real contender]. It was all very surreal because that’s never been my goal. My goal has never been to be in politics. As a matter of fact, there’s a lot about politics that I hate.”

The Rock’s presidential bid was a central theme in NBC’s Young Rock. The show’s premise revolved around The Rock recounting tales from his youth during an interview to promote his 2032 presidential campaign. While NBC announced the cancellation of the show after three seasons, hints from individuals associated with the show suggest that this may not be the end for Young Rock.

Harvey Wippleman, the show’s executive consultant and a long-time wrestling manager, recently discussed the future of “Young Rock” beyond its third season in an interview with Developmentally Speaking. He expressed optimism about the show’s future.

We will have to see what is next for Dwayne Johnson. He obviously has a lot of options open to him, and he could take a run at the White House after all, if he chooses to go that direction.
