John Cena was on his longest WWE run in over six years, as fans simply couldn’t wait to see him on WWE television every week. Cena last competed at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia and that might have spelled the end of his run as the SAG-AFTRA have called off their strike.

John Cena squared off against Solo Sikoa at the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia. The Leader of Cenation was systematically dismantled and then brutalized by the young Samoan, as Cena lost the match. He would then tease retirement immediately afterwards.

The ongoing SAG AFTRA strike had allowed John Cena to return for a lengthy run in WWE after so many years. However, according to Variety, The SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike has been called off – seemingly bringing an end to John Cena’s current WWE run.

“In an announcement Wednesday, the union said the 118-day strike would officially end at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday.

The union’s negotiating committee approved the deal on a unanimous vote. The agreement next goes to the SAG-AFTRA national board for approval on Friday. …

Union members will still have to vote to ratify an agreement, a process that is likely to take at least a week or more. But the strike has already been called off, meaning that actors can return to work on Thursday.”

We will have to wait and see when John Cena will end up retruning to WWE television, as it might be a while before the 16-time World Champion graces fans with his presence once again.
