Jon Moxley remains one of the top stars in AEW as the company heavily relies upon him whenever it is in a pinch. Apart from that, Moxley makes frequent appearances on NJPW programming and now he is set to compete in a huge match at Wrestle Kingdom 18.
During the closing moments of NJPW’s Power Struggle, Jon Moxley confronted Will Ospreay as they had a staredown before they were jumped by David Finlay. He also busted up the IWGP US(UK) Championship, prompting Will Ospreay to challenge them both for a match.
NJPW has now taken to Twitter and officially announced that Jon Moxley and David Finlay will be challenging Will Ospreay for the IWGP US(UK) Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 18 on January 4th, 2024.

Many fans have speculated that NJPW will bring back the Intercontinental Championship now that the US Title has been destroyed. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether Will Ospreay will remain the champion come January.
