Kenny Omega, widely regarded as one of the top professional wrestlers in the world today, has not only made a mark in pro wrestling but is a well-known figure in the world of Anime and video games now. In fact, Omega has now discussed having a career in those fields after he retires from professional wrestling for good.

In case you didn’t know, Kenny Omega is part of the cast of Netflix’s anime-inspired series, “Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix.” He isn’t the only pro wrestler there as Cody Rhodes had a part in it as well.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio to discuss voicing his own character in the series, The Best Bout Machine made it clear that he is glad he has made a presence in the world of anime and video games, so that he can have a career in them once his pro wrestling journey comes to an end.

”It really was (the perfect setup for me). Getting involved in things like this (Captain Laserhawk) is something I really wanted to do. So I tried to stay active within the anime world and in the video game world and we’ve had a lot of success with some great crossover production and it’s a great thing to know that when wrestling can’t be there anymore for me, that I will possibly have a presence within that world…”
