WWE’s NXT brand is heating up in a big way, and this week’s Halloween Havoc Night 2 special certainly included some newsworthy moments. The main event match also saw a surprising return to disrupt the contest.

Ringside News has comprehensive coverage of WWE Halloween Havoc Night 2. It was quite night, and it opened up with a banger of a tag team tables, ladders and scares match. After The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile got their big NXT send-off, due to their main roster call-up, Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre made their mark.

This was quite an exciting show, as Wes Lee returned to target Dominik Mysterio. Also, Von Wagner ended his hiatus as he went after Bron Breakker. They also announced the return of the Iron Survivor Match at NXT Deadline. Lola Vice also won the Women’s Breakout Tournament.

The main event match of the night was quite a brutal contest as Ilja Dragunov defended the NXT Title against Carmelo Hayes, but it did not end the way Carmelo Hayes wanted it to. Just as he was about to close out the victory, Trick Williams’ music hit.

Trick Williams walked out as the announce team proclaimed that he is now back. Williams was taken out of action with a backstage attack, and that cost him a chance to battle for the NXT Title at Halloween Havoc Night 2. He still showed up in the main event match, but he wasn’t a part of the match.

Carmelo Hayes lost focus when Trick Williams came out, and then Ilja Dragunov won the match to retain the NXT Title. Trick Williams also made a big statement in the process as he entered the ring to confront a beaten Carmelo Hayes. Suddenly, the camera went backstage, where Baron Corbin was taking out Ilja Dragunov backstage. This was quite an episode of NXT, and one for the history books.
