Jay Briscoe will forever be remembered as a legendary tag team wrestler. He was revered for his exceptional in-ring skills and his commitment to entertaining fans. Jay’s passing has left a deep impact on the wrestling community and they continue to mourn his loss. Now a middle school has renamed its locker room in tribute to Briscoe.
The ROH Hall of Famer was tragically involved in a fatal car accident on January 17th. The Delaware State Police confirmed that another driver crossed the center line and collided with his vehicle head-on.
The Laurel Middle School took to their official Facebook page and announced that they will be renaming their locker room to the “Jamin Pugh Locker Room” in tribute to the late professional wrestler.
During Halftime of the Laurel Vs Delmar Football Game, a special memorial dedication was presented to the Pugh family in honor of Jamin Pugh. The Laurel Middle School locker room will be renamed the “Jamin Pugh Locker Room”. Jay Briscoe truly loved the business and he was loved by his family, friends and fans to a large degree. More than 9 months since his passing, his loss is still felt and that is unlikely to change anytime soon.
