MJF considers himself a generational talent, and he clearly has many ways to back up his claims as his stock continues to rise every week. He respects his peers in AEW and that includes Kenny Omega. Following their title match, MJF put over Omega in a big way after AEW Collision concluded.

MJF defended the AEW World Championship against Kenny Omega in the main event of this week’s episode of AEW Collision. It turned out to be as excellent as fans expected, with both competitors giving it their all in the ring in order to win.

In the end, MJF defeated Omega and confirmed that he would become the longest-reigning AEW World Champion in history. After Collision went off the air, MJF cut a promo addressing Kenny Omega and put him over in a big way, adding that wrestling Omega could influence him to stick with AEW during the bidding war of 2024.

Without Kenny Omega, without The [Young] Bucks, without Cody Rhodes, and without Tony Khan, he might be a f***** mark but he is a visionary, All Elite Wrestling does not exist. Therefore, your world champion, Maxwell Jacob Friedman does not exist.

I still don’t know what I’m gonna do for the bidding war of 2024. But what I do know is that when I get the opportunity to wrestle the Best Bout Machine Kenny Omega, it tends to sway my opinion a little bit.”

MJF is set to defend his AEW World Championship against Jay White at the Full Gear pay-per-view next month. We will have to wait and see how the match will turn out, as fans want MJF to successfully retain the title.
