The pro wrestling world is full of changes, and that is very true when contracts start running up. Will Ospreay caused a huge stir when he announced in August on AEW television that his contract is up in six months. There is a lot of interest in the Aerial Assassin.

It was previously reported that Will Ospreay has retained Barry Bloom. Both WWE and AEW were informed in August that Ospreay hired that well-known agent. It was later reported that WWE has interest in Will Ospreay’s services.

Ringside News reached out to confirm WWE’s interest in Will Ospreay, and whether they think he will come into the company. A tenured source within the company confirmed WWE interest, and another remarked “ask me again in a couple of weeks.”

It appears that WWE is well aware that Will Ospreay is going to be a free agent in February, and 2023 is ticking down in rapid fashion. He is making appearances for AEW and Impact Wrestling, while garnering rave reviews in the process.

Only time will tell where Will Ospreay ends up next, because there is definite interest in him, and some big money could be coming his way. He certainly amped things up by hiring heavy-hitter agent Barry Bloom, who has been responsible for landing some major pro wrestling deals in the past.

Keep it tuned with us here at Ringside News for more on this story, and many more. It seems that WWE may have their eye on Will Ospreay, and if they can land him, the timeframe seems very possible for a major WrestleMania encounter.
