Tonight promises another exciting night of action as Damian Priest goes one-on-one with Jey Uso. Also scheduled for tonight is the NXT Women’s Championship match between Becky Lynch and Indi Hartwell.

WWE RAW Results (10/23/2023):

The opening package for the show airs. The Judgment Day’s music plays and they walk to the ring. Finn Balor says all rise of the new tag champs. Priest says the rest of the group is busy handling Judgment Day business. He says they are back to running WWE.

Cody Rhodes’ music plays and he walks to the ring. Cody asks how it feels to get interrupted. He says he has some choice words for the leader of Judgment Day but he sees Rhea Ripley is not here. He says Rhea is their mami too. He then says Rhea is calling all the shots including one with the Bloodline.

Cody says he needs to speak to Priest and he says his low blow from last week is not the final shot in this rivalry. Priest says he is glad Cody is here because he would’ve found him. Priest says there is a lot of talk about his story. He says his story is that he failed.

Cody says they can test out that theory. Priest says he has a match with Jey but he suggests they can face off at Crown Jewel. Cody accepts his challenge. He then asks what do they now and he says they can give everybody a preview of Crown Jewel. Priest likes the idea. Dominik and Rhea come out but Dominik gets jumped by Jey Uso.

Cody brawls with Priest in the ring. He sends him outside and gets the announcer’s desk ready. JD McDonagh attacks Cody from behind. Cody fights him off but Priest sends Cody into the post. They gang up on him. Priest hits Cody in the leg with a steel chair.

Jey tries to get Cody to the trainer’s room.

Alpha Academy vs. The New Day

Alpha Academy is in the ring. The New Day’s music plays and they come out to the ring.

The match starts and Gable takes down Xavier Woods. Woods comes back with a clothesline. Cover! 1…..2…kick out. Woods tags out and Kofi attacks Gable. Gable sent outside. Otis knocks down Woods. He hits Kofi with a body drop.

*Commercial break*

Otis goes for a splash and misses. Both men tag out. Woods knocks down Gable. Woods with a forearm strike. Woods hits a side Russian leg sweep and follows it with a senton. Woods slams Gable. Woods goes for the honor roll but Gable catches him and hits three German suplexes.

Gable tags in. Otis lifts Woods up and Gable hits a bulldog. Cover! 1…..2……Kofi makes the save. Otis attacks Kofi in the corner. Otis hits the caterpillar on Kofi. Otis headbutts Woods. Otis is sent into the post. Gable tags in. Woods goes for a reverse caterpillar but Gable locks in the ankle lock. Woods rolls him up but he kicks out. Otis tags in. Kofi tags in and they superkick Otis.

Kofi tags out and hits the Trouble in Paradise before diving onto Gable. Woods with an elbow drop for the win.

Winner: The New Day

Jackie interviews Becky Lynch who says this title is for the ones who want to take on The Man. She says Lyra is here to poke holes in her game but she can’t look past Indi. Lynch then welcomes Indi to the big time.

*Commercial break*

A video package plays showing Ivar and Valhalla who says it is time for Ivar to become the one true warrior.

Seth Rollins is walking backstage and he runs into Rhea Ripley. He tells her he doesn’t see Judgment Day anywhere. He says she is in the wrong place if she is looking for Drew McIntyre. Rhea says their rivalry was built on respect but now he’s dealing with Drew and they are concerned and he might need a little insurance like the Judgment Day.

Rollins says she lost faith in Damian Priest. He says that’s why she is cutting deals. Rollins asks what would he want with Judgment Day. Rhea says he needs her because, with them, he can be the World Champion. She says if he joins them, Priest could cash in his contract on someone else. Rhea says she doesn’t know how he can accomplish a title reign like Reigns. Rhea says they could have his back.

Rollins says he doesn’t want to be anything like Roman Reigns. Rhea says that wasn’t a no and walks away. Indi is backstage with Candace. They are joined by Natalya who wishes them best. She says she is trying to weigh out options for tonight. She asks her to knock it out of the park and walks away.

NXT Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Indi Hartwell

Becky Lynch’s music plays and she comes down to the ring.

*Commercial break*

Indi Hartwell’s theme song plays and she comes out to the ring.

The match begins and Indi knocks down Lynch who rolls out of the ring. Lynch gets back on the apron and kicks Indi. Indi comes back and hits the side slam. Cover! 1……2……kick out. Lynch hits the dropkick on Indi who rolls out of the ring. Lynch goes for a baseball slide and misses. Indi slams Lynch into the barricade.

*Commercial break*

Indi hits an elbow drop. Cover! 1…..2…..kick out. Lynch comes back with a reverse DDT. Cover! 1….2…..kick out. Indi with a big boot to Lynch. Cover! 1…..2…..kick out. Indi climbs the top rope but is stopped. Lynch hits the superplex and she transitions into the disarm her but Hartwell blocks her. Hartwell powers out of it.

Indi hits Lynch with a spinebuster. Cover! 1…..2…..kick out. Lynch locks in the disarm her and Indi taps out.

Winner: Becky Lynch (c)

Candace is watching backstage and she is attacked by Xia Li backstage. Pearce is talking to his security team and Aldis walks in. He says he takes full responsibility for what happened on SmackDown. He says he wants healthy competition between both of their brands. He says hopefully Pearce will accept his apology.

Pearce says he understands where Aldis is coming from and he says it is water under the bridge. He offers Aldis the chance to stay on RAW. He walks out and a referee walks in. Pearce asks him to double the security they have available.

*Commercial break*

Pearce is in the ring and he says the women’s division has been filled with chaos and the only way they can settle things is in the ring. He then introduces Raquel Rodriguez. Raquel’s music plays and she comes down to the ring. Shayna Baszler’s theme song plays and she walks to the ring and signs the contract. Zoey Stark’s music plays and she comes down to sign the contract. Nia Jax’s music plays and she comes out to sign the contract. She asks for Rhea.

Pearce says Rhea has been the cause for all the chaos and she will sign it later. He asks her to sign it and she does. Rhea Ripley’s music plays and she comes out. She says she is not sorry for coming out early because she has something to say. She then says she could beat everyone individually but this is a conspiracy to set her up.

She then says she will make Pearce’s life a living hell. She says the only thing that will happen is that there will be four less women in her division because no one is taking the title from her because she is always on top.

Nia says Rhea is smart. She says she wants her to squash everyone else for her but that still leaves Rhea with her. Nia tells Shayna that Rhea wants her to squash her. She then informs the same to Zoey. Nia then tries to dumb it down for Raquel who attacks her and a brawl breaks out.

Shayna and Nia brawl. Raquel knocks her down. Nia and Raquel come face-to-face and they brawl. Security personnel come into the ring and separate them. They take out the security and continue to brawl. Nia hits Raquel with the Samoan drop.

Ludwig Kaiser is backstage with Giovanni Vinci and tells him he needs him to get the job done. He says his performance reflects on him. Bronson Reed comes in and says he is ready for Gunther again if he wants to face him again. Kaiser asks him to tell Gunther. Akira Tozawa asks Reed for a match tonight. Reed denies it at first. Tozawa chops him and he agrees. Maxxine walks in and is surprised that Akira challenged Reed.

Johnny Gargano vs. Giovanni Vinci

Johnny Gargano’s music plays and he walks to the ring.

*Commercial break*

Giovanni Vinci’s music plays and he comes down to the ring.

The match starts and Vinci attacks Gargano in the corner. Vinci comes back with a backbreaker. He hits another backbreaker. Gargano comes back with a slingshot spear. Both men exchange strikes. Vinci with a clothesline. Gargano returns with a superkick.

Tommaso Ciampa attacks Kaiser and chases him out of the arena. Gargano hits the one final beat for the win.

Winner: Johnny Gargano

A video of Nakamura plays where he says a beating from him is a beautiful thing. He says Ricochet suffered an honorable sacrifice. He says he is looking for a new opponent to release the expressions trapped in his dreams.

Logan Paul’s music plays and he walks out to the ring.

Logan Paul says he found out that Dillon Danis embarrassed himself so badly that he was dropped by his fight league. He says he made him lose his job. Paul says he is a free agent now too and he asks all his haters to run to his keyboards because when he defeats Rey Mysterio he will give them something to talk about.

Dominik Mysterio’s music plays and he comes out. Dominik says he can’t wait for Logan to beat up Rey Mysterio. Logan says they have natural ability. He says Dominik grew up with a deadbeat dad but still managed to become a champion. He says he changed the landscape of sports entertainment. He says Rey needs to be humbled.

Dominik says they both will be champions at Crown Jewel. Logan says he can see it happening. He says his favorite ring announcer is here, Samantha Irvin. He asks her to join him in the ring. He says he owes her a thank you and she deserves her flowers in the ring.

Samantha enters the ring. Logan says he made it hard for her when she had to announce him as the winner after he beat Ricochet. He then asks her to give the fans a preview of Crown Jewel. Ricochet comes from the crowd and attacks Logan and Dominik. Ricochet knocks out Dominik with a jumping knee. Ricochet goes for a shooting star press but Logan pulls Dominik out of the ring.

Natalya & Nikki Cross vs. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven

Chelsea Green’s music plays and she walks out with Piper Niven.

*Commercial break*

Natalya’s music plays and she walks out. Nikki Cross’ theme song plays and she walks to the ring.

The match begins and Nataly knocks Green down. Niven distracts Natalya and Green takes advantage. Green tags out and Niven attacks her in the corner. Green tags in and attacks Natalya. Nikki gets down from the apron and walks away. Natalya hits Green with a German suplex. She hits Green with a dropkick and follows it with a discus clothesline. Cover! 1…..2…..kick out.

Niven tags in and attacks Natalya from behind. Green hits the Unprettier and Niven with the crossbody for the win.

Winner: Chelsea Green & Piper Niven

Jey is warming up backstage. Drew walks into him. He apologizes for last week. He tells him to get over it. He says whatever happens to Sami Zayn is on him.

Sami Zayn vs. Drew McIntyre

Sami Zayn’s music plays and he walks to the ring.

Adam Pearce is walking backstage and The Miz stops him and he says he has not had something worthy of his stature in WWE. He reminds Pearce of his accomplishments. He says Aldis understands his talents. Rhea comes in and signs the contract. She then walks away and runs into Dominik. Rhea says they will deal with Ricochet next week.

Drew McIntyre’s music plays and he walks to the ring.

The match begins and Drew knocks Sami down. He then chops him in the corner. He chops him again and Sami rolls out of the ring. Sami pulls Drew out of the ring. He hits a moonsault on McIntyre. Sami sends Drew into the ring.

He goes for crossbody but McIntyre catches him and hits the suplex. McIntyre chops down Sami. Sami comes back with a clothesline. Sami goes for a dive on Drew but he catches him and flings him over the announcer’s desk.

*Commercial break*

Drew is sent into the post. Sami hits a suplex. Sami sends McIntyre out of the ring and he dives onto him. Sami climbs the top rope but is stopped by Drew. Sami with the sunset flip powerbomb. Cover! 1…..2…..kick out. McIntyre hits him with a Glasgow kiss. He goes for a Claymore but Sami kicks him and hits the blue thunder bomb. Cover! 1….2…..kick out.

McIntyre throws Sami across the ring. He then hits a neckbreaker. Rhea Ripley’s music plays and she comes out. Sami rolls up McIntyre but he can’t get the pinfall. Sami hits the exploder suplex. Rhea distracts Sami and McIntyre hits the Claymore for the win.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

Nick Aldis is backstage talking to Kayden Carter. Pearce says he doesn’t want him chatting with his superstars. Nick says they were having a conversation. He says he is going to take off.

Nikki walks across the frame and Pearce says he needs a drink

Bronson Reed vs. Akira Tozawa

Bronson Reed’s music plays and he comes out to the ring.

Akira Tozawa’s theme song plays and he comes down to the ring.

The match begins and Akira comes out fighting but gets knocked down by Reed. He hits an elbow drop. Reed chops Akira Tozawa in the corner. Reed attacks him in the corner. Reed goes for a senton and misses. Tozawa with a flurry of strikes. He hits a hurricanrana. He climbs the top rope and goes for crossbody but Reed catches him and drives him into the mat before he hits the senton. Reed then hits the Tsunami for the win.

Winner: Bronson Reed

Akira Tozawa is backstage with Alpha Academy and New Day. They are joined by DIY who says they are back. Woods says Akira is still a champion and they offer him a replica belt and he begins dancing.

Drew is walking backstage and he runs into Seth Rollins who congratulates him on winning his first match as a member of Judgment Day. Drew says Seth spoke to Rhea today and didn’t say no to her offer. Rollins says he doesn’t ever need Judgment Day. McIntyre says he doesn’t need them either and walks away.

Jey Uso vs. Damian Priest

Jey Uso’s music plays and he walks to the ring.

Damian Priest’s music plays and he walks to the ring.

The match begins and Jey attacks Damian in the corner. Priest with a back elbow to Jey. Priest goes for a splash in the corner and misses. Jey sends Priest out of the ring and he hits him with a suicide dive.

*Commercial break*

Priest attacks Jey in the corner. He then hits the broken arrow. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Both men exchange strikes. Priest is hung up on the top rope. Jey with a crossbody. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Priest comes back with a clothesline. Cover! 1….2….kick out.

Priest goes for the South of Heaven chokeslam but Jey fights out of it. Jey hits the Samoan drop. Jey goes for the suicide dive but Priest catches him and hits the fat liner on the announcer’s desk. Priest with another flatliner. Cover! 1…..2…..kick out. Priest goes for Razor’s edge but he escapes and hits the spear. Jey hits the splash. Finn Balor comes out and distracts Jey who dives onto him.

Balor pulls the leg of Uso and Priest hits the South of Heaven chokeslam for the win.

Winner: Damian Priest

After the match, Jey hits the coup de grace on Jey. Balor gets a steel chair and enters the ring. Cody Rhodes’ music plays and he comes out. He attacks Balor and hits the uppercut on Priest. He attacks Priest with a steel chair. Balor pulls Priest out of the ring.
