WWE didn’t go through any massive releases for a while, but once the TKO merger was complete, they let several members of their roster go. Now, Ikemen Jiro is already back to work in Japan.

WWE released over 100 people from their corporate headquarters. In the end, they fired lot of people since the TKO merger was finalized.

Former WWE NXT Superstar Ikemen Jiro appeared at the DDT Pro event on October 21st. The Japanese wrestling star now works under the ring name Kuroshio.

Following his appearance at the show, it was announced that he would be working the upcoming Ultimate Party 2023 special event on Sunday, November 12 at the Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan.

Kuroshio will face Takeshi Shoda, which should get him started in a good way. NXT didn’t use Kuroshio for months prior to his release, with him only showing up for a cameo appearance. His days as a weekly featured talent were gone, as his role was greatly diminished after NXT 2.0 transitioned into the version of NXT we have today.
