Charlotte Flair has been a mainstay of WWE television for almost a decade now and continues to pave her way in the company. Flair’s in-ring skills cannot be denied and now Ric Flair stated that Charlotte Flair made the men’s division look lame after her match on Smackdown this week.
Charlotte Flair challenged Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship in the main event of this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown. It was an incredibly competitive match that showed why they are two of the best female pro wrestlers in WWE right now.
Iyo Sky would ultimately win the match in somewhat controversial fashion. Ric Flair took to Twitter and commented on the match, stating that Charlotte Flair and Iyo Sky made the men’s division look lame after their match.
“Congratulations To The @WWE Women’s Division! You Just Made The Boys Look So Lame Because You All Are Just SO GOOD! WOOOOO! @MsCharlotteWWE @Iyo_SkyWWE.”
Charlotte Flair was unable to gain her 15th Women’s Championship but that doesn’t mean she will not get another shot in the future. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see how WWE will continue to book Charlotte Flair in the coming weeks.
