AEW made its debut back in 2019 with all the momentum in the world. It is a fact that the company was truly at its peak after All Out 2021 when many felt they were ready to take over the pro wrestling world. Those days are long gone now as AEW is struggling to sell tickets for their shows. That said, Paul Wight even plugged a buy-one-get-one ticket offer for an upcoming AEW show during his recent OVW appearance.

For a long time now, AEW has been struggling to sell tickets for its weekly shows, which has become a cause of concern for many. Due to this, AEW has been employing tactics of using various offers to sell tickets.

As previously reported, Paul Wight was set to make his first appearance in Ohio Valley Wrestling in almost 20 years on the October 19th edition of the show. During his appearance, Wight ended up plugging a buy-one-get-one ticket offer for the November 1st AEW show, which many fans felt was the company trying too hard to sell tickets.

We can only hope AEW will eventually recover from this rut and get back to its original state, as things certainly do not look good for Tony Khan’s company at this point in time.
