Paul Wight began his career as The Giant in WCW, but then he made a new name for himself as The Big Show in WWE, but he is now part of the AEW family. Interestingly enough, Wight is set to make his return to Ohio Valley Wrestling for the first time in almost two decades.

Paul Wight eventually decided to take his skills elsewhere and made his way to AEW back in 2021. The World’s Largest Athlete had been content working as part of the commentary team on AEW Dark: Elevation and occasionally competing in the ring.

Ohio Valley Wrestling’s official Twitter account took to the social media site and announced that Paul Wight will be appearing on the October 19th edition of the show, live on FITE. 

“THURSDAY! For the first time in almost 20 years @AEW star PAUL WIGHT will return to Davis Arena and OVW TV! VERY FEW SEATS REMAINING!”

The last time Wight appeared in Ohio Valley Wrestling was in 2006 when he wrestled The Miz at the Six Flags Summer Sizzler Series. We’ll have to wait and see how his appearance will be received by fans.
