The Deadman was a fixture of WWE television for over thirty years. He finally retired at Survivor Series 2020 but has made sporadic appearances since then. He shocked fans with his appearance on NXT last night and now the company has uploaded a video of The Deadman and Shawn Michaels reuniting backstage.
As seen on this week’s episode of NXT, The Undertaker made his shocking return on WWE television for the first time in several months following the main event, where he took out Bron Breakker.
WWE’s official Instagram account uploaded a video of The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels reuniting backstage. They were clearly happy to see each other as they embraced and had a light chat.
It was a reunion of old friends last night at #WWENXT 🙌
The Undertaker appearing during the show was the perfect closing shot for NXT as they went head-to-head with AEW Dynamite this week. We’ll have to wait and see which show will win the ratings war.
