AEW is presenting special Title Tuesday episode on October 10th, but WWE will not let that go unopposed. NXT is also stacking loaded episode full of legendary names from the main roster. That being said, Adam Copeland is really enjoying the whole ride.

AEW emerged victorious in the Wednesday Night War that started in 2019 when both shows aired on Wednesdays. AEW consistently garnered higher viewership numbers, prompting NXT’s shift to Tuesdays.

For the October 10th episodes of both NXT and AEW Dynamite, they are stacking their lineups. NXT has promoted appearances by John Cena and Cody Rhodes and hinted at The Undertaker’s presence. Meanwhile, AEW is featuring matches like Bryan Danielson vs. Swerve Strickland, Hangman Page vs. Jay White, and Adam Copeland’s debut AEW match against Luchasaurus.

During an appearance on the Masked Man Show, Adam Copeland discussed both AEW and NXT stacking their shows. The Rated R Superstar thinks this whole situation is awesome.

“Who cares ‘I’m only this guy, I’m only this guy.’ This is awesome. How can you not enjoy the fact that both shows are trying to load up and trying to put the best show on imaginable? That’s all I really care about. I’ll try to make sure that my part of the show is all killer, no filler. That’s my only job. I’m sure both will get watched, when it’s all said and done with DVR and however else it gets computed since everything with ratings is so antiquated.”

“It’s fun. I remember flipping back and forth between Nitro and Raw. That’s kind of what this is. I don’t see that as a bad thing at all. I think it’s great. The performers themselves, there is none of this weird tribalism. Within any industry, sure, there is competition, but I’m happy for those guys and they’re happy for us. When there are choices and there is another company that can push the other company, that’s when you get the best stuff.”

Adam Copeland did not bring the wave of increased viewership that Tony Khan might have expected. The company is also banking on the idea that fans will want to see Adam Copeland wrestle Luchasaurus on the October 10th episode of Dynamite. Obviously, Copeland is going to bring everything he can to the table.

October 10th may present fans with some tough choices, because both shows are pulling out all the stops this week. Both programs are getting commercial-free periods of time, and an overrun. Only time will tell how the viewership numbers turn out when they finally drop, but that should be a very interesting number.
