WWE presented their Fastlane event on October 7th, and there is a lot to talk about after the show. The main event match saw Shinsuke Nakamura take Seth Rollins to his absolute limit, and they also received incredibly high marks in the process.

Ringside News previously reported that Jade Cargill had lot of people buzzing about her backstage at Fastlane. Also, Rhea Ripley’s SmackDown segment with Paul Heyman drew a lot of praise throughout the night.

Ringside News was told that a lot of people backstage were talking about the World Heavyweight Championship Last Man Standing match. A tenured member of the creative team informed us that people were discussing, “how the story with Seth Rollins really resurrected Shinsuke Nakamura’s career.”

It was also noted to us that Shinsuke Nakamura’s, “personality was allowed to shine in those vignettes instead of Vince McMahon forcing him to speak lines that he would struggle with and look bad doing.”

We were also told that people noticed, “how the storyline with Shinsuke Nakamura did so much for Seth Rollins.” Obviously, the main event of WWE Fastlane was a success, and it also did a very good job leaving both competitors in a better place than when they started.

Shinsuke Nakamura was not able to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but he proved a lot in the process. With Seth Rollins, he was able to prove that he has a spot in the main event scene. Only time will tell when fans see him back in that spotlight.
