Mandy Rose worked with WWE for many years, after joining the company as part of Tough Enough back in 2015. Her main roster run was largely hit or miss for many and now Rose admitted that she wasn’t happy with her direction in WWE prior to her NXT move.

Despite not winning the show, Rose was signed to a WWE contract and debuted on the main roster. Unfortunately, Mandy Rose had a lot of trouble connecting with fans for a variety of reasons.

It wasn’t until she was moved to NXT that her fortunes changed and she was booked as one of the great NXT Women’s Champions of all time. While speaking on her newly launched podcast Power Alphas, Mandy Rose talked about her time on the main roster and admitted that she wasn’t happy with her direction in WWE prior to her NXT move.

”I wasn’t very happy with what I was doing at that moment. So, in my head, I looked at it as a positive reinforcement of like this could be something really big and really new and innovative for me. I didn’t look at it of anything else.”

WWE was also accused of being ungrateful after firing Mandy Rose following major NXT event. Mandy Rose also recently made it clear she won’t be returning to professional wrestling anytime soon. Regardless, we’ll have to see what’s next in store for her.
