Hulk Hogan is known for a lot of things, including his two-time WWE Hall of Fame career. He is also known for talking a lot, and sometimes he tends to stretch the truth a bit.

In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Hulk Hogan stated that Nick Hogan was under consideration for a wrestling match or some involvement with Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 39. Hogan shared that Shane McMahon had contacted him about a potential angle at WrestleMania, which also included the possibility of Nick Hogan’s participation.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall to say that there were never any real plans for Nick Hogan to make any kind of WrestleMania cameo. A source connected to the company outright denied that was not true.

“In no way is that true. I can’t think of a time in the last 13 or 14 years that Nick Hogan’s name was brought up at all, much less in a creative capacity. There has never been a serious conversation about him being involved in anything that I can think of. Even when Hulk would mention him being involved in things, there just wasn’t an interest or a benefit to that.”

In case you need a refresher, Hulk Hogan claimed that he spoke with Shane McMahon about Nick Hogan facing him as his “surrogate” in a WrestleMania match. Hogan later claimed that the conversation was soon dropped, but it appears that those talks never happened to begin with.

Hulk Hogan is under WWE Legends contract, and he’s having a great time in life. He is also spending plenty of time in his Beach Hangout. Only time will tell if Hulk Hogan makes another WrestleMania appearance, but it wouldn’t be a good idea to put money down on Nick Hogan taking his place.
