AEW and Warner Bros Discovery have quite a working relationship. The whole thing may be beneficial for both parties, but this week wasn’t the best for them when it came to communication and performance.

Things haven’t been the best between AEW and Warner Bros Discovery this week. They saw a couple incidents that confused fans, and it also hindered some from watching.

We previously reported that audio during Adam Cole’s segment on Dynamite. TBS later commented on this error, but it was too late to fix anything.

Sean Sapp noted these mistakes behind Fightful’s paywall, and he provided some insight in the process. It appears that there is an excuse for these botches, but doesn’t make things any less frustrating.

On last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, there were several audio issues through the TBS feed. The situation persisted on the October 5, episode, but that wasn’t the biggest problem. WBD sources confirmed with us that they became aware of a mistake regarding AEW Dynamite’s listing yesterday morning across multiple providers that likely caused viewership issues. The WBD source called all of the issues “inexcusable” and admitted they felt bad for them.

It was also reported that, “there was a lot of frustration within AEW as they often get blamed for these issues, but there was nothing they could do.” Obviously, they all did their best considering the circumstances.

AEW and Warner Bros Discovery have quite a partnership, and there are likely many years left in their deal together. Hopefully, they can go awhile without botching things again, because this week was certainly full of disappointing news for AEW fans when it came to the company’s network.
