Update: AEW acknowledged this botch later on in the show, and then they re-aired the segment without any issues.

Original: AEW has a lot of things going on, and it appears that didn’t have time to double-check the audio feed. This caused quite an unfortunate incident where Adam Cole’s video segment on the show was a silent picture.

Adam Cole is out of action with an ankle injury, but that doesn’t mean he will be alone. Roderick Strong is also out of action with a kayfabe injury, and it appears that they had quite a reunion in rehab.

Cole and Strong had a nice conversation, but the only way you’d be able to know what they said if if you had closed captioning turned on. AEW messed up the audio feed in a big way, as they apparently aired the audio from inside the venue instead of the straight feed from the video in the live feed.

That meant the Adam Cole and Roderick Strong segment was muffled, and that’s a shame. Those two are great together, but fans could only really see it this week unless they turned up their volume.

In other news for the night, Kenny Omega dropped an “Edge” reference to Adam Copeland very soon into their first meeting on AEW television. Also, Adam Copeland says he wants to be with AEW for years to come.

AEW might have messed up this video for the live feed on TBS this week, but they got it right in the video online. You can check it out below to hear it in perfect quality.
