MJF watched on with the rest of us as Adam Copeland made his debut for All Elite Wrestling at WrestleDream. That was a big moment for the company, but the Salt of the Earth doesn’t seem thoroughly impressed.

During the media scrum after AEW WrestleDream, MJF spoke briefly about Adam Copeland arriving in AEW. He said that if the former Edge thinks he’s going to take his spot, then he has another thing coming to him.

“I think he’s another guy that is coming into my company that wants my spot. And he’s got another f*cking thing coming if he thinks he can take it. Great signing, though. Good job, Tony [Khan], I’m proud of you. But in all sincerity, first ballot of Hall of Famer, incredible professional wrestler.”

Adam Copeland arrived in AEW to have the best matches he could with new talent. One can only suppose that MJF is a perfect future opponent for the Rated R Superstar, but he may have some unfinished business to settle with Christian Cage first.

MJF later gave Adam Copeland flowers as he listed him along with other top AEW roster members, as he made a case that AEW has the best roster on the planet. The Devil actually called Copeland “Edge,” which drew quick little admonishment from Tony Khan.
