Pro wrestlers can never expect injuries, and that can sadly cost them a lot of time from the ring. Now it seems that Sheamus is out of action with a pretty bad injury as well.

Sheamus has experienced this in the past, and he’s facing it once more. Sheamus entered the wrestling industry in 2002 before joining WWE in 2006 and getting promoted to the main roster in 2009. He’s been a consistent performer for the company, accumulating numerous championships.

Durign Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Sheamus is out of action with a bad shoulder injury. He did not give any more details, but it seems the Celtic Warrior is on the mend.

“By the way, Sheamus, really bad shoulder injury. That’s why he has not been on TV or at house shows.”

Sheamus’ most recent match resulted in a loss to Edge on the August 18th SmackDown. Hopefully, he will be able to make it back to the ring very soon.

Sheamus’ WWE contract is also running out in 2024. We will have to see if an injury hiatus causes WWE to freeze that deal, so they can get the most out of him before those contract talks start.

What’s your take on Sheamus’ run in WWE? Do you miss him when he’s not around? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you think!
