MJF Compared to ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin in Fan-Engagement Prowess

MJF has been compared to one of the greatest pro wrestlers to have ever laced up a pair of boots – ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper. This includes Jim Cornette, who previously stated that Roddy Piper would have loved MJF.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry talked about MJF’s current position at the top of AEW and discussed whether he is a babyface or a heel. Henry would then liken MJF to “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

”Steve Austin wasn’t a babyface. He was just a hell of an entertaining wrestler that whatever story he was trying to tell, he can reel your ass in. Max is, in a way, kind of the same right now.”

MJF also previously stated that he is an attraction like Andre The Giant. MJF also defeated Samoa Joe at AEW Grand Slam this week in a sensational match. It remains to be seen what’s next in store for the AEW World Champion
