WWE handed out a lot of releases this week, and we are still hearing about some talent who were let go. It appears that may call for NXT Level Up to do some editing.

Bodyslam.net reports that they inquired about the impact of the recent wave of releases on NXT Level Up programming in the future, as many of the released talent had been regular participants in the show. Those matches may have been taped in advance, meaning that talent may appear on the company’s television show after their release.

Sources reportedly indicated that it was uncertain whether any of the released talent had already participated in the tapings. However, if they had, it was believed that their matches would be substituted with other bouts before the episode’s broadcast.

“Not sure if any of the cut talent made those tapings, but figure we’d replace with another match before airing.”

WWE is obviously going through changes all around the company. NXT Level Up may be in store for a refresher after those releases this week, and they are doing what they can to keep the Friday night show.
