Jim Ross is a WWE Hall of Famer and was the voice of several generations of fans, as he gave decades of his life to the business. He has done a lot for the business throughout his career but it appears Jim Ross has no intention of ever getting physical anymore.

Due to his veteran status, Jim Ross is well aware of how the pro wrestling world functions and how certain things in AEW can be perceived. Naturally, whatever Jim Ross says carries a lot of weight.

While speaking during a recent edition of his Grillin JR Podcast, Jim Ross stated that he and Tony Khan never spoke about him doing anything physical in AEW because Ross is far too old for that kind of thing now.

”I’ve been lucky to avoid any ball shots. Tony Khan, I don’t know if he just doesn’t believe in it or what, we’ve never discussed it because I’m not interested in getting involved in physicality in angles again. I’m past that. I’m not past that egocentrically, I’m past that age wise and all that stuff. I’ve done my time. If you want to kick someone in the balls, go with Kevin Kelly or Nigel.”
