Vince McMahon is one of the most powerful men in media, and his work ethic is famous at this point. He made a meeting with the company on Tuesday, and it appears that he needed a little help making it around.

WWE President Nick Khan held a mandatory meeting at HQ on Tuesday in the aftermath of the recent workforce reductions. Those layoffs had been anticipated for several months, as there were overlapping departments due to the merger.

The participants in the meeting included Khan, Vince McMahon, and Endeavor head Ari Emanuel. The meeting was relatively brief, lasting approximately 12 to 15 minutes, and was characterized as an enthusiastic gathering.

According to PW Insider, Vince McMahon was seen using a cane for assistance while ascending the stairs to the stage and later to the podium where he addressed the audience. He did just return from a medical leave after having spinal surgery. McMahon is now back to his old job, just as he was doing prior to taking that leave.

During his address, Vince McMahon tried to engage the employees humorously by stating, “I’m Vince McMahon, damn it!” However, when the humor fell flat, he quipped, “This is when you are supposed to clap,” prompting the audience to respond. Eventually, when they did applaud, he jestingly remarked, “You’re learning.”

Vince McMahon gave his speech, one where he said that WWE was stagnant before he came back. That caused sufficient amount of eye rolling among employees.

After the meeting, Vince McMahon was the only WWE executive who did not interact with the employees. The entire meeting was filmed with a complete WWE production crew, and all the executives emerged from behind an old Raw set. We will have to wait for that footage to come out.
