AEW President Tony Khan’s passion for professional wrestling can never be questioned, as he truly loves the business. However, he has been subjected to a lot of criticism over the past year. Now it appears Khan stated he works more than 80 hours every week.

AEW has certainly seen a lot of growth since its inception back in 2019, as the company gradually added shows such as Rampage, ROH and now Collision to their lineup every single week.

While speaking in an interview with Business Insider, Tony Khan talked about his current work ethic in AEW. Khan revealed that he is way past 80-hour work weeks after Collision debuted back in June.

”No one works harder than my dad, and I’m honestly very lucky because he’s the hardest-working person I’ve ever seen, and here I am, I get to work on the stuff I love. I’ve worked hard to get to a position where I can work on things I love all the time. 80 hours is nothing. That was before “Collision.” Before that, 80 hours was a good week. I’m way past that now.

You know, I’m the only person who has never missed an AEW show. We had a referee that had never missed a show until a few weeks ago. He missed a ‘Collision,’ so now I’m the one, and, God bless this guy, he made hundreds of shows. ‘Dynamite’ alone, we’ve done 206 episodes, so that’s not counting ‘Rampage,’ ‘Collision,’ and all the pay-per-views. So now I’m the iron man. But what else am I going to do?”

Tony Khan was also advised to not be liked but respected after all the backstage drama in AEW. Only time will tell whether Tony Khan will end up improving the company in the coming weeks.
